Late 40's Dreamer (Holy Fucking shit I'm almost 50 and still dealing with this), aged out of original DACA and didn't have a chance to apply for extended DACA after Republicans killed it on the vine.

The Admin gave its best reason

There are no more reason they could bring up to end DACA

DACA is basically set law now wow

So can we apply for AP now

That would be my concern too, as long as DACA is in place, it means there's less of a sense of urgency towards getting us more than just DACA.

Also, don't forget we have high unemployment numbers going on in the country and priorities will be focused on more on that and less on immigration. As long as DACA is in place, the issue will be considered as "resolved".

I hope we can get AP back, as I would like to travel internationally, which I think most people want to travel too.

Anyways, given the current situation in America, DACA staying is a good scenario nonetheless for us.
