You can pull back a regulation but you need to abide by the APA which is what the Trump regime didn't do correctly. If they went "We will accept DACA related applications for 60 days and then you're on your own" we wouldn't have won today.
I've said in my posts before that if Trump really wanted to resend DACA he should just do it again and follow the APA without waiting years for a SC decision. It's a gamble he did not have to make. It makes absolutely no sense. Now republicans are saying Trump can't remove an EO Obama put in place, does that mean they won't try to remove it even they know they can? Again, makes no sense. It's hard to predict what will happen next because it is irrational.

I guess we wait for action instead of talk from republicans because the ball is truly in their court now.

You're good man. This leads me to think they really knew this was coming. I think its even in their interest to have DACA remain in place. They want to appeal to both sides. Now they will start catering to hispanics. Big politics.

He can try but i think NY/CA/ACLU will just sue again. Never-ending suing.

Lol that would be epic. I would love to see a mass walk out on live tv.

oh and for fun,

"It's not that Chief Justice Roberts is a closet progressive. He's not.

It's that the Trump administration is *really bad* at administrative law."
Yeah, I agree. Chief Justice Roberts knows that each of their rulings creates case laws and could comeback to bite them back.

With that being said, the election seems like forever away and that lead will almost certainly go down. Let's just hope Biden's campaign doesn't collapse like Hillary's.
Also 1 big difference going into the 2020 election is Trump is the incumbent. In 2016, he could sell a rosy picture of how to make america great and make any fairy tale promises to voters. Trump can't do that now, people can vote for the status quo: mismanaged pandemic, civil discourse, and a sinking economy OR vote against him for change.
