I noticed my last name was wrong when I received the paperwork for DACA.
Like the appointment noticed and approval.
When I went to my biometrics. I told the person in charge, she said she fixed it.
When I got my EAD it was wrong for example. Instead of Santamaria it said Santa maria.
My lawyer just said to leave as is.
Online it says (USCIS) it's 500 if they see I made the mistake.
I went over the paperwork everything seemed fine except for one part.

If I were you and you can get it fixed how you have always had it you will be better off. I had issues with USCIS putting only 1 last name on my work permit, as opposed to my 2 last names like I have in my social. The issues arose when applying for employment, since the social and work permit did not match, applying for some grants for my company, and even at the dmv since my work permit and social did not match so I could not apply for a REAL ID until that was fixed. Trust me you are better off with USCIS than the social security office during this pandemic. change it, and if it was your mistake pay those 500. You will avoid headaches.
