Do We Qualify for Life Insurance?

Under DACA, do we qualify for getting life insu through our job or critical illness insu.

Of course. Why wouldn’t we be? You really should get life insurance as soon as you can. I have a term policy. The key is insurability, you want to get insurance while you’re insurance.

Did that application go through? That’s a BIG mistake to make by saying you’re USC. You should get that fixed ASAP.

I didnt fill out the paperwork. He did. I requested them years later to understand what plan i signed up for & noticed it. Thinking of cancelling.

Call him up and speak to him..how the hell did he declare you as a USC without knowing? That could jeopardize your future immigration related applications. Falsely claiming USC status is not a small thing.

But with regards to insurance you should always have it.

Right, i understand but he checked the box and i never said I was a USC to him. lol It was a rushed appointment.

Honestly, i was just going to cancel and move on. Probably wont be at this job longer.

Get it corrected first and then cancel it after a bit. You want the last document immigration will pick up to be not USC.
