So the final fee schedule was released today, set to go into effect in October...NO CHANGES TO DACA APPLICATIONS

“Response: In light of the concerns raised by commenters, as well as the recent Supreme Court Decision in DHS et al v. Regents of the Univ. of Cal. et al, No. 18-587 (S.Ct. June 18, 2020), DHS will not impose a fee for Form I-821D. Therefore, there is no fee for Form I-821D, Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, in this final rule, and USCIS will not receive revenue from Form I-821D. DHS has removed the estimated costs and staff directly attributable to the DACA policy from its cost baseline used in its

fee calculations for this final rule, consistent with past practice. See 81 FR 26903, 26914 (May 4, 2016) (explaining that USCIS excludes from the fee calculation model the costs and revenue associated with programs and policies that are temporary in nature such as DACA). In this final rule, DHS adjusts other fees to recover the anticipated overhead and cost reallocation that the NPRM associated with DACA fees, including Forms I-765 and I-821D.
In light of the recent Supreme Court ruling and attendant changes to DHS’ operations relating to the DACA policy DHS will maintain the DACA fees as in effect before the rescission on September 5, 2017 at $410 for employment authorization and $85 for biometric services. New 8 CFR 106.2(a)(32)(vi).

Realistically DACA (EAD) got impacted the most. They Cut down to one year for the same fee. So technically we will be paying $ 495 extra compare to now. Now we pay $ 495 for 2 years, going forward it would be $495 for one year. They just making us fool that DACA did not effect, In out case they cut our 1 year.

They are really boasting that the program is temporary in nature. They act like congress has to fix it. Two years ago when we got EAD delayed a lot of us got fired from our jobs. Now by applying every year our chances of getting approved on time are slimmer which means we can always get fired on and on again. We are being stripped of our humanity. We are deemed worthless obviously.

Less than a year. Now we will have to re apply at around 8-9 month mark and most likely we will lose every time 2-3 months. So 495$ for 8-9 months of work permit.

Can we please get a fucking injunction already? eDACA was based on the same shaky legal reasoning that you can just change a program on the spot and what happened with that, permanent injunction that went all the way to the supreme court.

Do you know what happens when the Supreme Court orders are defied? The court gave the administration one month to put the program back. Has it been one month and are the courts going to do something about it? I’m expecting the courts to come through and say something any day now .

To most people? You get thrown into prison for contempt of court until you do whatever you're asked to or you get released on 8th amendment grounds (which generally requires convincing the judge that you rather off yourself in prison than do whatever is demanded of you). In this administration however? Fucking nothing. Chad Wolf and few others deserve to be behind bars already.

I hear you but nothing ever happens to this administration no matter what they do and they have done some pretty messed up things. The judges have also ignored other supreme court rulings such as Pereira v. Sessions and others without any consequences then they get sued again, lose and yet keep ignoring the laws, un-freakin belivable!

No matter what the supreme court says about DACA trump will interpret the law the way he wants until someone sues again and the cycle repeats, and every cycle takes about year, the system is so messed up and the people who can do something about it don't do crap because they dont give a fk.
