Alien Flight Student Program for Private Pilot license PPL

Hi folks. I know there is a very old thread here in reference to getting a private pilot license for DACA recipients, but wanted to see if any new members here have successfully applied for the Alien Flight Student Program (AFSP) and gone thru a TSA check. How long was the process for you and more importantly has anyone applied for the AFSP program in the past 3 years and gotten approved? In the old thread, newer posts said they didn't see the option for DACA folks to submit their EAD paperwork. Thanks much
