Forced my mom and sister to go and vote early today in NY for Biden.

My sister who has never voted before, and obviously knows my situation, says that she'll be voting for Trump.

Lol did you ask her why? I tell my family I cut them off if they voted trump. My brother actually gave me his vote. I told a good college buddy of mine we probably not friends anymore cause he’s a trump supporter. You have to be a special kind of stupid to vote trump.

I moved to from NY to GA (after 14 years leaving in NY), back in 2015. It's been 5 years since then, and yes the South is different. There were so many issues I was not aware back in NY but got to see here. Anyway, I did buy a house last year/2019 and thankfully DACA was not an issue. Things are going well but now I have no option but to plan for DACA getting terminated. Im waiting on 601a right now, that is almost 1 year in the queue, but has at least another 6 months before they get to it, and have low chances of getting approved. I have no plans, I did apply for Canadian express entry, which took a few months to complete the steps but came about 20 points short from being picked up in the different draws (age plays a big role, specially if above 32). That application is now expired. I'd really like to move to Canada if Trump gets re-elected, but not sure what other options are there at this point. Anyway, if you decide to move to GA and decide to buy a house and I can share my experience and suggestions with you.

I thought you could boost points for Express Entry by having a provincial nomination? What is your current career? I’ve seen a lot of former DACA recipients in the Leaf Network group on Facebook try to apply with different provinces that have occupations in demand and boost their application that way.

Im a software engineer. I will look into that option and have joined that group on facebook.

do you have experience? have you looked at the tech program in the ontario province?

I am an extremely anxious and pessimistic person. I don't have a good coping mechanism. I have my good and bad days. I'm in therapy for it. I'm not trying to be annoying.
