Ted Cruz 2024 would be a nightmare. Man is actually smart compared to Trump. Dem better put up a great candidate for 2024.

Most presidents who get us through a crisis gets re-elected (i.e. Bush 2). Trump was "gifted" a crisis in COVID but he bungled it every step of the way. If Biden/Harris gets us out of COVID, I can see a real chance of Harris riding off the coattails of that and more or less run as a continuation of Biden's admin.

Harris is too far left to win the votes for moderates and independents. I personally don't see Harris fairing well against a Trump or Cruz run.

If you look at Harris voting record she very reliable left vote. You can make a argument she’s more moderate prior to the senate position but the conservatives , independents and moderates are not going to care.

It's all gonna depend on how good or bad of a job Biden/Harris do in the next 4 years.

As of Cruz doing a run for the WH, as of today I think he doesn't have what it takes to be another DJT . He doesn't have the charms needed to motivate masses the way Trump did.
