Josh Hawley says he won’t allow Mayorkas to get a quick vote to head DHS, citing Biden’s immigration plan. “Given this, I cannot consent to skip the standard vetting process and fast-track this nomination when so many questions remain unanswered."
Republicans will be obstructionists when it comes to immigration and many other progressive items on Biden's agenda. Level your expectations, folks.

the Biden Admin should also try to look at other ways to overhaul immigration.

how about increasing the cut off date for 245i? its still 2001. or getting rid of those 3 year/ 10 year bars for DACA recipients if they are trying to adjust...

Since they are talking about making changes to DACA, why not remove the upper age limit to allow aged out dreamers to qualify and remove the 3/10 yr ban so that the ones of us that want to leave can leave without having to face the ban.

Exactly. Those fixes would allow us to figure out lives out.

Simple as that. But they want victims to bat for so they can pass left wing legislation that will have nothing to do with us.

Welcome to the modern Democrat Party of JFK...OH WAIT IT'S AOCs party now 🤦🏻*♂️

Exactly, we only going to get DACA extended and thats it.

Is not even funny anymore, NOTHING will get done basically. GOP will focus on obstructing everything like they did with Obama.

Justice John's got a solid point. The Dems need to really be careful of the ever growing radical left bloc, mostly in the House. These people like to use things like religion to invoke chaos (ex. Tlaib, Omar, and even AOC now...). However, I have solid confidence in Joey Biden...This man means business. I can just tell. He's very aggressive. Hopefully he won't stand for that bullshit by the radical left and will stand up to the right wingers as well. To hell with those two.
