It would never have roll with the republicans anyway. They probably I hope I pray have learned their lesson. If they’re gonna help pass a covid relief bill. It actually better be a relief bill. Not like their last bill that even trump got pissed at.

republicans are snakes and they would have chew this bill all day and call it an amnesty bill

I hope that any bi-partisanship gained in covid talks transition to immigration or any hurt feelings don't poison immigration talks if dems go at it alone. Dealing with republican mood swings is tiring.

It's understandable, because if you put DACA into relief bill, it gives GOPs an excuse to not support it.

They can mention "Amesty for illegal" as a reason to not being able to vote for relief for American citizens.

Why burn your chances at using reconciliation when you can pass the hill in a bipartisan way. Then Dems can use reconciliation for other things

True, there is suppose to be a massive infrastructure bill coming out soon. That is supposed to hold provisions that forgive 10k of student debt

Reconciliation only requires 50 votes. They don’t need GOP support but democrats always wanna keep us as a wedge issue. Dumb old white crackers all of them
