Thanks everyone, I have BofA and Chase but want to get a new one for the 0 APR at start up cuz I just started to pay interest. I usually get a new one when the interest starts kicking in on my current one.

$30K - BoA, $10K - Uber/Barclays, $10K Capitalone, $10K Amex, $15 Discover.

Amex was $30K. I was traveling for work and charging it on personal card for points. When work travel stopped in 2018, they reduced my limit from $30K to $10K due to "lack of credit use".

I only use my cards for groceries, going out, and some bills - cellphone, auto insurance etc.

Amex employee here .
They lied to you about the reduction of limit. They don’t reduce limits based on utilization they completely close them after 1+ years of non usage .
You could’ve appealed it depending on how long ago it was . Unless you had a no preset spending limit card then yeah that can affect how much you can spend if you’re not using but that isn’t a hard limit .

Don’t be fooled like many people thinking it’s unlimited lol no preset spending limit doesn’t mean unlimited . It basically means that , the limit is not preset and can vary depending on my factors research it if you like but don’t assume you can charge an outrageously amount at a random moment thinking it’s unlimited
