John Cornyn may get his leadership position, who voted for Dream Act and was one of the original sponsors years ago. This is really interesting.

They are trying to pass a bill so Cocaine mitch can choose his own successor instead of the Democratic governor. vetos that bill.

If mitch croaks then Dems will get a 51 majority.. essentially nothing changes.

Vote wise I mean since the VP counts as the 51 vote for the dems. Don't count on them backing immigration, since its KY... they would most likely put a blue dog there.

John Cornyn has never voted for the Dream Act and was certainly not an original sponsor! How quickly people forget history.

And Krystal Ball is a grifter. Read/Watch reliable news sources.

John Cornyn tried to play both sides on Dream Act, he will never actually vote for it.

I mean you add one more democrat to the senate and you get a bit more wiggle room. Obviously whoever gets appointed in KY wouldn't stand a snowball's chance of hell of surviving a special election but while they're there not everything has to hinge on Manchin playing ball.
