The good thing is that the house can easily pass those bills and the senate does not have to take it up right away. They need time to build whatever support they can and to provide the biden admin to get the situation under control.

Immigration was an uphill battle already in the senate, not need to make it Everest. I still think something can be passed but Biden and the dems will need to swallow some poison pill.
