I honestly wouldn't be surprised if within the next month or two, DA passes in the Senate if not sooner. It is just a strong gut feeling. This border crisis is really really urgent and Congress needs to desperately pass SOME sort of bill and to me DA is the only viable bill that can pass. Any sort of border security measure to go through Congress will need to have DA in it.

I say 1-3 weeks maximum.
Dems want to pass DA and GOPs want to add border security.

Add border security to DA and we have a deal.

What we are seeing from the GOP is negotiating tactics. Soon they are going to come out with their solution. There are acting like car salesmen.. There will be movement soon.. The GOP knows this damaging to Biden and the dems to they are milking it.. next, they will swoop in like heroes and give their solution to save the day.

This has never been done before and there is a good chance that the same thing that happened to the minimum wage will happen to the immigration part of the bill. I hope it could work but gut feeling that it wont be allowed.

Durbin has been working on DA bill since 2001. That is when it all started! It makes sense for him to accomplish his 'Dream'.
