What Republicans will ask for in exchange for Dreamers is becoming more clear.

https://thehill.com/policy/national-...-asylum-system

Graham reintroduces the bill to make changes in the Asylum process. They will tie this in with dreamers.

Quote:
Graham’s bill is the second major proposal from Republicans seeking to push Democrats to agree to tougher border control measures in exchange for status for Dreamers.

Graham from downtown! Seems like a reasonable bill. Merge this with DA and pass it!

I’m ok with most of Graham’s proposal except for max number of 100 days of keeping children in detention. That’s a pretty damn long time for a kid if Gov chooses to detain for that long.

seems fair but they should add the caveat of applying for asylum from a country other than the asylum seeker's. If the asylum's seeker's country has cut ties w/the US, how will they apply from their home country? They need to leave the kids alone too, should apply to adults and family units only.

Unless Democrats resort to extreme tactics or have a super majority, this is the only way we’re ever PROBABLY going to get anything done. If beating Trump wasn’t enough to give Dems a super majority, this is the best we can get.

all the far left non profits need to change their strategies on pushing agendas that are pretty much damn impossible.
