Sen. Mark Kelly, the Arizona Democrat up for reelection, told me he's open to including a pathway to citizenship in the reconciliation bill, as Dem leaders hope.

"I'm a supporter of a pathway to citizenship for DACA recipients...I think we should look at all options."

So far their issues haven't been about immigration being in the bill, but for other reasons:

Progressives won't back infrastructure deal unless reconciliation passes with their priorities. But Manchin has concerns with climate provisions.
Sinema wants to lower $3.5T price tag, while Schumer won't say how say how low he'll go.
Moderates want vote on infrastructure now
