I can go to Hawaii with just my drivers license, right? I don’t need my EAD? Do any dreamers have experience with this?

I have been there several times over the years. I just take a regular DL. I don’t have a real ID. Have fun!

Like everyone has said here, your DL is all you need. However, if TSA happens to be an asshole or wants to give you a hard time, they can pull you aside and delve into your immigration status. It has never happened to me but It happened to my little sister. She went on a trip to Miami, FL from TX and on her way back the TSA agent questioned why the DL said “limited term” and my sister let them know it’s because of her DACA permit (2 yr intervals). She was pulled aside and taken to immigration and sat there for 2 hours until they looked her up and found her in the system. The only reason she spent so long there is because she did not have the EAD card or her DACA Letter. Ever since, I just carry a copy of the letter and a copy of the card. But it’s up to you!!

United Airlines sucks!!! I’m only using it because it was free with my miles.
