POS, they don’t care at all.

It’s true though. McConell doesn’t fuck around. Unlike Chump Schumer.

Not to be a conspiracy theorist but seems to me that the democrats knew the vote is there but somehow uses Liz as a scapegoat to not follow through.

Do you think immigration is a political winner for Democrats? If anything it's a loser.

By definition no one who is primarily affected by this has the vote. But all the people who are against immigration reform have it as no 1 or no2 issue and they are all primed to vote.

That’s because the Republicans don’t need a scapegoat on immigration issues, they’ll make the changes they want not giving a care what people will say.

Democrats on the other hand care about the “rules and democracy” but in reality that’s there excuse to hide the fact that they have no interest on fixing the immigration issue.

Also, railing against Democrats mean nothing. Yes, they can overrule the parliamentarian.

If they have 51 votes. And as long as Sinema and Manchin are in favor or the filibuster, they don't have 51 votes.

That's the situation we are in right now. And it sucks.

Oh and the fact that Republicans aren't willing to do anything is sort of a given, but it's the biggest reason nothing is happening.

BS

McConell couldn't even keep John McCain in check when he needed him for the ACA repeal. That comment was just about baiting and provoking Democrats and to make them seem weak. And you fell right for it.

What’s missing here though is the accountability, not just on immigration, but on all other issues the country is facing now, and Biden and Harris need to be more aggressive on accountability, because our country is at a stage where we can’t afford to sit back and watch.

Manchin and Sinema will eventually cost Democrats the Senate and the House because of their inability to govern. But they also know they can get away with it because no one will make them accountable for it.

It was an important vote but McCain did the right thing. McConnell has gotten away with so many things such as the TCJA in 2017, the three Supreme Court nominees, the remaking of the judiciary branch. McConnell can be ruthless when he wants.
