Manchin and Sinema will eventually cost Democrats the Senate and the House because of their inability to govern. But they also know they can get away with it because no one will make them accountable for it.
It’ll be so funny to me when the midterms come and dems lose their majorities in either chamber and the moderates blame the progressives. The progressives want to get shit done! They’re the ones pushing for the 3.5T bill and moderates are doing everything in their power to stop it from passing.

The American people need to see the democrats fighting for them with everything that’s included in the reconciliation bill… then they can be the judges next November.

How can you force accountability on Manchin, if it's not sure he's going to be running next time and he's a senator from a state that Republicans won with almost 70% of the vote? You are lucky to have Manchin go complain about in the first place.

After listening to all the dem politicians this morning going on CNN/MSNbc etc. It seems like they'll be moving on approving the infrastructure bill before end of the month and taking on reconciliation later, they need a win badly now. Off course Manchin and sinema will have no motivation to vote for reconciliation since their bipartisan infrastructure bill would had already been done, so we are toasted.

We have to count on House progressives and Bernie to tank it.

Difference between John McCain and the Parliamentarian. One could be fired by McConnell, and the other was elected by the people.

Agreed. Progressives need to be like Republicans - that is, bully till they bring home the cake.

You do realize if it tanks, the senate and the house are guaranteed to flip red during the mid-terms

Not one person should be defending any party when it comes to immigration because both of them are serving their poisons just in different ways, and the more blind you are it to, the better it is for both parties benefiting from it.
Republicans were actively trying to destroy DACA and took away Advance Parole. Democrats will at least not touch DACA and also brought back Advance Parole.

Some of y’all want to pretend they’re both just as bad as the other and it’s getting old.

Nope, he doesn't. Reconciliation is dead:
