Couldn't take it anymore so I took a week vacation. Came back with my EAD in production!

I was scared I’d expire since my expiration day was only 100 days away. But luckily it went fast!

I-765 received: 9-21-21

I-765 approved: 10-01-21

Still waiting on I-821 approval

Nebraska Center

I take it they request bios at random now? Not sure why they would ask some but not others. Perhaps bios expire so if they get your application before it does, you don’t have to do them?

hey all, I'm trying to get my documents together. My DACA does not expire for another 5 months but I am hearing horror stories of people not getting theirs renewed on time so I figured I will rather lose a few months than lose employment if things don't work out. This is really BS though, because I've been renewing in a year-and-a-half basis at this point instead of 2 years. So much money T_T

I usually just do the forms myself but when I went to the USCIS website, the I821D form is expired. On the top of the form, it says, it expires 4/30/21. For those of you who just recently renewed, did you use the same form? I don't want to be automatically rejected because I use an expired one. Is there a newer form I am just not seeing?

Apparently it's fine if it's the most recent one on their website. Others have sent it and have been approved: http://dreamact.info/forum/showpost....ostcount=22550

They received my renewal a couple of days ago so I expect an acceptance text this week or next. I doubt they'll issue a receipt if the form being expired is a problem. I'll confirm once I hear from them...

thanks so much. this makes me feel a lot better! they really still need to fix this and get it together, renewing early is stressful and expensive enough they have to add in more uncertainty.

So I haven't received the text or email from the G-1145 form, but I did check my USCIS account and the new renewal was received and accepted. I didn't include passport photos and used the "expired" I-821D from their site. I don't believe either are an issue.

Under the filing for the I-765, there is a tab which lists: Biometric_Reuse.pdf, Sent October 5, 2021

Pretty safe to say that I won't need to go to ASC to do biometrics and they plan to use the previous one.

That said, I feel confident I'll be renewed before my expiration at the end of January. I'll cross my fingers anyway.

My case was sent on Thursday Sept. 30, received Oct. 3rd, accepted Oct. 4th.

You would have won that bet!

Received October 3rd, approved October 14th.

I was worried that I lost track of my 150 day mark and would be waiting a long time, I am pleasantly surprised. I lost three and a half months but better than lapsing and this anxiety is over for the next year and a half.
