This is nonsense - immigration is not larger than thr social spending budget! What it threatens is *cheap labor****

Immigration relief is part of paid parental leave.
Immigration relief is part of medical leave.
Immigration relief is part of essential workforce shortages.
Immigration relief is part of child care.

Rep. Jayapal and progressives need to demand elimination of the filibuster.

The message is clear people. Reform will never happen for DACA people because we are too convenient of a group to use as political pawns by both the left and the right. After this, there will not be any meaningful action on immigration for many years... so make your life choices. You only live once.

He is right. If it was just us we would already have GC's. But they always try to group us together with other immigrant groups. All or nothing approach that UWD wants because it's not gonna work.

Codifying a version of the daca program might be the only thing that can pass the process but immigration advocates and dems dont want that... It would mean less $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Everyone around here always loves to bring up the time Republicans fired the parliamentarian. They don’t tell you what happened after: Senator Jim Jeffords from Vermont switched to the Democratic Party and Republicans lost control of the Senate. Careful what you wish for.
