Not sure if they are lying, naïve, or willfully ignorant? I can't see how it wouldn't effect her judgement, particularly after reading her response to the first proposal.

@PabloReports
Asked if prosecuting deportation cases might affect her judgement on immigrant relief proposals.

"That is an effort to drag her down," said
@SenatorDurbin
, "and I don't that's appropriate at all." (2/2)

@PabloReports
Asked by me if he's concerned about parl's past as immigrant prosecutor in NJ.
>>
@SenatorMenendez
: "I don't believe that necessary dictates her views. I certainly would hope not and I would not expect that."

From
@elwasson
: Espaillat, Correa and García leave Pelosi’s office and say they are renegotiating immigration provisions in reconciliation package.

Current language is parole: temporary work authorization & deportation protection. They’ve been pushing all day to restore registry

republican Manchin gonna republican.

Instead of dems going HAM on reform, in they unlikely chance this passes, they'll still lose the optics and get blamed for "amnesty"

I am 100% cool with what he said until the border part... it will never be 'secure'. We dont need a special path...we can join the normal greencard line if you give us the ability

Because, if he went republican he would be a nobody. Right now him and Sinema ware the most powerful senators in Congress and those political donations are rolling in.

Can anyone shed some light on the visa recapture portion of the bill? I see there is family based part too.
Most of us have a family based petition but since the wait time especially for mexico is like 20 years does this affect us?
