When you're applying for the mortgage...just act like you are a regular application (because you are). Only provide what they're asking for. When they ask for EAD, just provide it. When they ask any questions, just answer them. Do not give more information than is needed. That will just complicate stuff. If they question the EAD expiry coming up (most likely they will not), just tell them your EAD is renewable every two years indefinitely.

With the mortgage, the main things are the tax returns, paystubs, bank statements etc. Those are they key items you should be focused on. You need to ensure you are able to explain unusual items (ex. big cash deposits in your bank accounts). Make sure your credit is on point, do not apply for any credit cards, car loans etc.

So im going thru the questionnaire for Chase preloan approval. The questionnaire specifically ask are you a US citizen and if you click it will prompt to next question if you are a permanent resident (green card). Looks like Chase is really strict about their applicants.
