The majority of us on this site don't take it seriously. It's always the same story; at the end of the day, nothing will happen.

It is not hate, republican want something Democrats are not willing to give, limits on legal immigration.

We are the bargaining chips, to get the sticker immigration controls.

The only way to ever pass something for us is to only have a bill for us. Not TPS. Not for the millions in the caravans. Not for any future dreamer. Unfortunately we keep getting bundled with every other immigration group.

Only pass something for people with DACA who have had it for years with a clean background.

In my opinion, that is not going to happen. Dems want future democratic voters, that is one reason they support immigration. The daca population alone is not enough to make a difference in voting. The majority of Daca is from CA which is already a democratic stronghold. That is one reason why Dems are trying to get as many people legalized as possible.
