I just got my California real ID. My Ead expires at the end of next year, but my real ID doesn’t have the Ead expiration date. I used to have the NY one, and that always showed the EAD exp. date. And that was not even a real id (regular one)... My California one says “limited term”, which means I’m a noncitizen with limited time, but I’m shocked the ead exp. date is not on it. Is that how it is now? The only exp date says 2027 (5yrs)

I think it just depends on the state. I've lived in a couple different states in the past and they both matched the exp date on the EAD card.

They made a mistake with mine. Per fed gov & dmv websites, the expiration on real ID should match my EAD

Yes it was a mistake, I’ve had that happen in CA also but that now matches with EAD. That’s good for you, run with it.
