USCIS just received my AOS application. I have a few questions.
Lets say that USCIS sends me a Request for evidence. Will that affect the Work Authorization that I sent it with my packet? Does the work authorization processing get delayed if there is any Request for Evidence?

I did not send the medical examination Form I-693. How long should I wait till I get that taken care of? They just received my application yesterday. Does anyone know how much it will cost? I have Kaiser medical insurance, will that help cover the cost? I got the covid vaccine last year and the booster shoot this year. Will that suffice in regards to the covid vaccine mandate or do I need to get a second booster shoot?
Thanks

No, RFE won't affect or delay the EAD.

Wait for them to send you a courtesy notice, then get them done. Insurance generally does cover medical exams like this. Should be enough for covid, you are considered vaccinated after 2 doses of Pfizer or Moderna or 1 dose of Johnson & Johnson.

EAD and the entire process is delayed on RFIE/RFE.

I had a RFIE to submit a proper Birth Certificate.

Medical insurance doesn’t cover I-693 but there are low cost clinics. They should be around $200. Why didn’t you submit it initially? You are good to go for Covid vaccine. Booster isn’t a requirement.
