How long is it taking on average to process AP applications these days? Can you someone help me understand the following discrepancies in the USCIS website.

For example, the the USCIS processing-times webpage (https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/) states that 80% of applications are completed anywhere between 9 months to 17 months depending on the service center. But if you go on here (https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/historic-pt), the median processing times for Advance Parole Documents are 7.2 months. That's a big difference in the numbers in the two reporting websites. Is anyone able to let me know how long it took their AP application to get accepted recently? Or if you can make me understand these numbers, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

It’s taking 3-4 months now. I applied January of this year and was approved in April.

Thanks everyone! And do you have to go in the specific dates that you requested, or do you have a full year to take advantage of it?
