Nothing is going to happen. Rs are not giving the Ds any kind of victory... even if they get border security in return. It's all considered a victory under the Biden Admin and Rs are not gonna have any of that.

Maybe we will get something when we turn 65. Green cards for 2050. Who is willing to wait that long?

The joke is actually on the far left radical immigrant organization supporters.....A true MAGA would be extremely pleased with the proceedings thus far...DACA on the attack...No chance at all of immediate legalization of all Dreamers....

So what's the plan here anyways?
1. DACA gets struck down
2. ???
3. CIR or DA passes

It's step 2 that's giving me a hard time.

The only way you get enough Gop support is by codifying DACA into law in exchange for border security.

If the Dems try to include pathway to citizenship or more people than DACA, I dont see how you get 10 GOP Senators.

United We Dream would be like…

“Nope not enough! We want open borders, end ICE, and give everyone automatically citizenship with no background checks or else NO DEAL!”

Moving on...

I must say that while I understand how difficult it is to get Congress to move on this, the lip service from VP/Biden/Durbin has been lackluster. What are the actual options they have without Congress? Not many.

My hope now is that Democrats somehow hold the House and expand the Senate. Or that enough Republicans side with us to allow legalization if/when shit really hits the fan.
