its not optimistic its reality and power of the program and amount of people in it for decade.

you saw decision from court. I have been saying for immigrants if they can all unite and go on strike as soon as possible in country wide then this will force them to bring a solution in days. but this aint happening because we immigrants underestimate our power. but hopefully one day this will click and we all go on strike. together we can achieve anything.

Aaaaand it happened today, so you Gucci lol. That’s not true, if you are in process, they would have approved the renewals sent in before the date of the ruling. It’s only after the ruling that they would stop accepting those renewals.

Thoughts?
Operate your career without taking in consideration if DACA will end or not. When I first started my job after DACA came out I thought DACA would end in two years. Here we are almost 10 years later. Don't base your decision on DACA. Just send in your renewal on time and forget about it.

OP - completely understand your position and thought process. Here is my take - Make the most of the EAD card you have and worry about next steps later.

My sister joined a new company last year with 90 days remaining on her EAD. Her renewal was in process and arrived shortly after but point being - make the jump and look at maximizing the most in the short term. IFFFF DACA is taken away, we will all be screwed anyway so why not make the most of it now?
