I think the next 2 years will be painful, even if the GOP comes up with a daca solution they are going to ask for too much and probably only include 1/3 of the daca population with all their bill's poison pills, the democrats are going to oppose and so nothing is going to happen anytime soon, meanwhile the clock is ticking in the courts, some say Daca could reach the Supreme Court next year. I wouldn't hold my breath thinking that once DACa gets canceled then the politicians will quickly fix it. I don't think that kevin Mccarthy would loose any sleep if daca gets cancel when he is speaker, I might argue that it might even be a positive for his supporters.

I think if we can get through 4 years of Trump with DACA, we can make it through anything. It's safe to say, there will not be a permanent fix for DACA anytime soon.

I know some here may not like to hear this, but the best we are going to get if push come to shove is a BRIDGE Act band aid fix, 1-2 year extension and the can gets kick down the road.

The BRIDGE Act had 10 house co-sponsors and was introduced by a republican.

People hate to hear it and it sucks I know, but DACA is frozen in time. Republicans will never take up a bill if it includes those that never had DACA. And that's the problem

sorry to tell ya but the BRIDGE ACT as it was introduced is too liberal now for Republicans today. they’ll give us something more draconian.

THE BRIDGE ACT will not pass in todays political climate.

What are you talking about? Democrats were the main reason The Bridge Act didn't get much attention, because they wanted broader reform.

Bingo! is not about what we should advocate for is about what the dems will accept. Durbin and friends will not accept bridge act for all that the gop wants and so nothing will happen again, never ending cycle

the bridge act is too rewarding and too liberal for today’s Republicans.

THE BRIDGE ACT WAS INTRODUCED NEARLY 6 YEARS AGO.

they will come up with something more restrictive. 6 month renewals. $1k. no AP. (this is satire, btw)

Trump himself said it countless times for us NOT TO WORRY under him. i even knew of CEOs for big corporations that told ME not to worry too and that nothing bad would happen to us under Trump all we had to do was lay low and not commmit crimes. Trump favor us big time but the NPC media doesnt like that.

our chance to get fixed is with Trump coming back.

its fantastic that Brandon is running for reelection, given the midterms right now it all points to republicans coming back hard in 2024 with Trump.

the economy turned to sht and the war mongering of the demonractic party is going to give the electoral win to the republicunts guaranteed.

seethe hard af demonrats, no way you will win after this, thank you for bringing Trump back in 2024
