Hello,

My work permit expires August 2023 and I just checked processing times and its taking 9 months. Should I renew it now ? How far in advance have you been renewing ?

Mine expires in July 2023. Curious to also know what others are doing.

It says Nebraska Service Center is taking 3 months and Vermont 9 months. Pray your renewal goes to Nebraska. Mine has always gone to Nebraska. Last time I did the renewal, it was done in a month or so I don't want to apply early and lose time on current EAD.

DACA renewal are taking 1 to 3 months. I know couple of people who filled their EAD renewal. It took 1 to 2 months for them.

But technically you should send renewal 6 months before the expiration of original one.
