Latest on the Tillis-Sinema immigration framework: there are still some holdups over the Border Patrol elements of the plan.

“Time’s running out,” @SenThomTillis told reporters just now.

Russian propaganda doesn’t belong here, especially knowing there are eyes on these forums.

There is no propaganda, just a taxpayer asking for equal consideration. Legitimate studies have shown that a significant portion of illegal immigrants pay taxes and 94% of daca is gainfully employed.

No one says to stop funding but as contributing members of American society should we warrant more consideration in times of need, especially since Daca will most likely end in a year or 2.

Sen. Tillis says there’s still no agreement on some Border Patrol elements of immigration framework and they won’t have text until that’s worked out. Asked whether he feels like a deal is out of reach, he says "time is running out." Says he’s still talking to colleagues

How can he have no text at this point? There are 3 days left before everyone goes home. Amazing how these fakers keep playing us. They weren't serious since the beginning, doubt that they even bother to write a bill. They are becoming more cynical, at least in the past they would bother to write their bs bill.

It’s interesting what’s holding this up though, not a path to citizenship for us, but rather “Border Patrol elements”

I thought the last day of congress is 12/21. I am expecting once this deal is officially declared dead, we will see a weaker 5-year daca extension for 1 year of the title 42 deal or something like that. That way both sides will declare victory and the issue is pushed down the road.
