Hi,

This is my first time renewing my Daca online and I have some questions.

1. Do we still need to submit a copy of our EAD, front and back?
2. Do we need to upload 2 passport-size photos?
3. Are we prompted to upload the I-765WS?
4. Are there any parts that are confusing or different from the paper version?

Please let me know about your experience filing online. Is it better or worse than the traditional way?

thanks

Yes to questions 1 to 3. Regarding questions 4 there are some questions that’s have been added or worded differently than the paper forms.

I do want to warn you . The online process seems to take longer or at least mine . I filed 11/12/22 and we received notice and Biometrics but when I check online is says my number is invalid and my profile cases Says there’s no updates at this time . Unfortunately I can’t do anything until it reach the 105 days . I don’t know if just me . Can you let me know if you get approved ??

I haven't gotten approved yet, I submitted a year earlier just to be safe. However my case status does show up with both applications and I did get a letter in the mail as well.

Would you suggest that I submit the paper version rather than the online version if there are issues with the online process? I expire in July 2023 and I am fine submitting the paper version

I would renew via mail yes. I expire this year in November and renewed early online back in August. My applications has been in "Case Was Received And A Receipt Notice Was Sent" since August . In 2021 with court stuff happening I renewed a year early via mail and got approved within 2 months.

I usually renew through a lawyer. Renewed for the first time online. Thought the process was simple.

Yes to all your question about providing supplemental info, including passport photos.

I expire May 2023 but applied in August 20222 due to Texas case and was approved right at the 150 day mark so if you have enough time before expiration, no issues using online.

It does take longer mine was submitted 10/13/2022 however it was approved on 1/11/2023. Usually takes a month and a half as opposed to over 2 months.

Were you in or close to the 150 day mark?
