Actions speak louder than words. It's pretty clear that congress is not serious about getting anything done for dreamers as they keep doing the same shit over and over again.

Opening pathways to legalization works - that is the reason Republicans try to block them.

DACA = successful
TPS = successful
Registry (previous years) = successful
Ukranian refugee program = successful
Cuban, Venezuelan, etc asylum program = successful and unauthorized crossings have plummeted.

Well, we have the lowest unemployment in decades and a massive need for essential workers, especially in healthcare. If Ukranians can be sponsored for a couple of thousand of dollars, then a registry and legalization program, DREAM Act, or whatever you want to call it, can be implemented quickly. And MODERNIZE the system.

Immigration is part of the Dems and GOP culture war. They feel it gets people to vote and brings in the $$$ so they will do whatever to continue it.
