Case Is Being Actively Reviewed/Card Rcvd

My I-821D has been saying since 9/28: "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS"

I saw another post of something similar but I already have my EAD with a new expire date.

If i am not mistaken, the EAD is connected to the 765 form? so the 821D is a whole separate case?

I have a Driver license appointment next month and not sure if i can go with the new EAD if the 821D isnt technically approved yet. And i dont know if i should give my job the new EAD yet before 821 is approved.

Anyone in a similar situation (765 approved with card but 821D is pending)?

not in a similar position but DMV will just ask to see the EAD. As far as I can remember, they don't ever ask for 821D or its status.

Im on similar situation where my DACA is actively being reviewed but the EAD has been approved. Im still waiting for my new card to arrived as the status says card is being produced. Does anyone know how long it take for card to be produced and mailed? My card status saying it's being produce since 11/16 and until today, still the same status that card is being produced

Hey check the document section, my case says it's closed but it still in the reviewing period but in the document section it has the approval letter with the new period and all.

Maybe is because of the holidays?

It took 10 days from when it say approved to when it change to card been produced
