Once Dream passes you have two years to figure out if you qualify or not. Gee, the flu is killing me! Anyway, you are going to need a lawyer anyway and he/she is going to tell you whether you have a chance or not. Right now, you have zero chances of legalization. That is what matters.

Hm.

"Eventual citizenship."

I never did understand that; anyone care to enlighten me?

After 6 years (as in, eventually) you can apply for citizenship once you get your permanent resident status.

Obviously not.

To everyone:

Can we seriously stop with the questions of what if what if that? Every time DREAM is close we get a hundred questions of what happens when in 10 years something this or that.

IT HASN'T PASSED YET!

NO QUESTIONS UNTIL IT PASSES.

IF YOU REALLY HAVE A QUESTION POST IT IN OFF-TOPIC SO IT DOESN'T JUST ADD TO ALL THE GARBAGE IN THE LOUNGE.

CALL FIRST, ASK QUESTIONS LATER.

You would have to be approved first. We don't know how long that will take.

right now, we should all focus on calling, if you are not, at least don't distract those who are calling. Sorry to be harsh.
