Covid 19 pay

I was wondering if we are able to get some type of pay if we test positive for COVID. I work for Amazon and my understanding is that they no longer will pay your leave for COVID. Does the state (CA) in any way help you with some of your loss wages? I will be out of work for at least a week. I will be at least around 1K in wages, money that I really need.

CA doesn't pay for COVID anymore, are you out of sick hours or vacation hours at work?

Disability Pay doesn't kick in unless you are out for 8 days or more and you'll need a doctors note for your SDI claim
