Hello, everyone!

I am getting ready to send my third AP request but this time for multiple entries. However, I have a question for whoever has requested multiple entries. I am trying to request multiple entries for a year since work requires it from time to time. Section 3 asks what the expected length of the trip is: do I put 7 days, which is typically how long my work trips are, or do I put 365 days, which to me does not make any sense since I won't be gone for 365 days continuously. I did select the box that I intend to make multiple trips.

Thanks in advanced for all the help!

Just put in 7. I don't think they really care about the time duration when you're requesting multiple trips.

So I sent the application and left it with 365 days but I better explained myself on a separate sheet why I need a multi entry advance parole. I know case processing seems to be taking longer than expected across the board so I don’t anticipate getting a response until June/July.

Yeah that's probably the best course of action. I-131 honestly makes no sense considering that most people will want wiggle room on their single travel, and just the whole year for multi-entry.

Case status is still pending but it’s only been two weeks but the case progress shows they used my old biometrics and approximate decision time is 1 week… I don’t know why that makes me nervous. Previous experiences with AP have been that case stays pending for months. Fingers crossed.

I got approved for multiple entries last year but it was for 90 days for humanitarian reasons. Even through i put 356 days 😞 .
Did you include a letter from your employer with your case ?

I did! The VP of the company wrote a letter that I can be assigned work trips for summits and to meet clients throughout the year and therefore we are looking to get a year long multi entry advance parole. There is a work trip coming up. How long did it take for your application to be approved?
