Early renewals still a thing?

Curious, are super early renewals still possible?

Anyone here attempted one recently?

Looking to secure 1 more renewal before whatever shitshow Trump and the repubs bring down on us.

My expiration is late February 2025...and I am looking to send it 1st week of August.

I submitted mine online little over 3 months ago and I sent in almost 132 days before expiration. this is the first time I sent in that early because I knew renewals were taking longer than usual. I have around 1 month left before the expiration. im about to escalate in few days. I would recommend send in between 130 to 140 days before expiration because you can expedite after around 105 days. so that way you will still have an extra time after escalation.

Timelines are all messed up right now.. Some people get renewed right at the 150 day mark while others are waiting a long time. Not sure what is causing the disparity

I think right now Nebraska is the only one handling hardcopy files as well as online applications. so thats why its taking longer for them to approve.

I actually don't want to wait for a 130 to 150 day timeline.

I want to send it like 210 days before expiry, lol.

I always did this before and got approved on a normal timeline...but I obviously lost more time than usual on my current approval.

Wondering if anyone did this super early renewals recently.

If I wait until like October to start which would be around 140 days or so before expiry...that may end up in a Trump administration who may shut down DACA instantly.

Although I'm not sure if they can do anything before Supreme Court makes their decision anyway.

I once sent my renewal 1 year before expiration during his first term, just when he was bragging about ending the program.

Last time I renewed I did 6 months before expiration date.

Yep, my first super early renewal was during Trump's term for fear of him ending it.

Ok, will send it next month...hopefully I get the renewal as early as possible. It will be nerve wracking transitioning to a Trump 2nd term and then praying for a miracle approval during February month, lol.

one time i did 1 year early, got approved quick, that was before the invasion.

going to renew 1 year early again because of the invasion, if mine takes longer than 3 weeks rest assured yours will take way longer than usual.

mine get approved and sent in less than 2 weeks(RFE) at most all the time because i havent changed my address for the past 20 years.

Crazy how you keep renewing DACA instead of opting out or just saving the government the hassle and self-deporting. Hey maybe if you hold your breath until you're purple Donny will give you a green card.

Btw, which invasion were you a part of? I got in during the 2004 one. Also major kudos to the invaders for taking a break during covid. Though the worst thing about invading is that if you don't get in by early November you have to wait until like May or June of the next even year, it's almost like all of this just lines up with US elections...
