Hey guys,

What are your thoughts on this election? Are we doomed this time? Trump looks strong in the polls and the battleground states.

If Trump wins, is he coming after DACA again? That's what's been sitting in the back of my mind. I have been trying hard not to think of this election but reality has an ugly way to reassert itself.

Fuck Donald Trump is what I think. And fuck Dreamers and immigrants that support Trump.

Harris is being outworked, plain and simple. Her schedule is very light.

As for Daca, I think whoever wins will wait for the Supreme Court to take action. After that, Trump will use Daca as a bargaining chip to get more of his immigration agenda through Congress if he wins. As for Harris, I am not sure.. It seems like Immigration and legal status have been a taboo subject for all Democrats since the border issue.. No one wants to say anything in case it triggers a caravan.

As always, Hope for the Best but prepare for the worst

Kamala Harris is poised to become the next President, and it is anticipated that the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) will be included in a border security bill, along with provisions for farm workers and other related measures. It is expected that Kamala Harris will sign this legislation, which is being proposed by Republican lawmakers.

Do you think that there will be enough votes in Congress with the current composition of Democrats/Republicans?

He was being sarcastic, GOP would never propose a bill like that

At this point, we know the border is a mess, and both Democrats and Republicans want to repair it. So whether one party gets enough votes or not, it will be supported by both sides. Attaching daca, farm workers, essential workers, and so on with border security will benefit both parties.

not really bud. Republican introduced the bill, which is currently gaining support. They will put it on the table as soon as possible once Kamala takes over the office.

Wow, I never expected this from the GOP, do you have the bill's name? I have not heard any news about it.
