Here to vent because - none of my colleagues or friends would ever possibly understand the difficulty of facing an election outcome like this -

I get that he won't be deporting DACA recipients - but let's NOT forget that during his term he stacked the Supreme court, can now also appoint more judges during his term, and that he also appointed many conservative FEDERAL judges in circuit and district courts where DACA is constantly being fought over in many states. To say that Trump will only affect migrants is an understatement to say the least.

Here I am - incredibly disappointed that Kamala, (while she was thoroughly qualified), never directly addressed the migrant/immigration issue to voters - and let's face it, Americans DO NOT want endless mass migrations of ppl coming to the US, getting free healthcare, working papers, etc - I live in NYC and even in this ultra-liberal zone, people are not happy with the multitudes of migrants showing up all over - sidewalks/subways/cafes, panhandling, filling classrooms in public schools, receiving cash benefits, free housing etc. Well, we know for sure that Trump will at least be putting a stop to what has become an uncontrolled border issue.

Absolutely does suck for the rest of us who are being roped in with all the rest of them.

Done with rant.
I don't feel devastated. I accepted the worst outcome and come to terms with it mentally a long time ago. I'm kind of surprised I'm still here. The feeling I feel now is more of disappointment. I'm disappointed how stupid the average person is. I'm actually more upset at the DNC more than Trump. Horribly run and selfish party. No reason why they should of lost 2016 or 2024.

Bernie Sanderson said that Democrats have abandoned working-class people and he is right in my opinion.. Dems took for granted the Latino and African American vote and the second trump term is the consequence. I think the majority of the Democratic leadership is incapable of self-reflection and out of touch with the Average American.

The Democrats rigged their election process in 2016 so the only Democrat that gets a shot is a party hack.

That's how they end up with unpopular party cronies instead of viable candidates.
Biden really thought he won 2020 because people liked him...

Yeah exactly, Trump, MAGA movement, overturning of Roe vs Wade were all the consequences of DNC corruption and selfish candidates. Hillary and RBG can be blamed for the start of Trump's rising and losing control of the Supreme Court. Biden and DNC can be blamed for the second coming. All stupid...both cycles were easy wins.

I still can't believe RBG.

She was already over 80 and sickly...and basically had the mentality that "who could do the job better than her?".

So much arrogance and ego...unbelievable.

Yep, RBG fucked women and fucked the country for decades to come. I was shocked that people celebrated her career when she died. For a party that was suppose to be for the people, all the elites in the party were selfish as fuck. This is why a extreme right party following Trump has any viability. As much as I dislike the Republicans, I have to give it to them; they know how to win. I'm kind of tired of supporting a party so self and bad at winning. 2016 and 2024 were literally the easiest election ever and these dumb fucks blew it.
