So the Trump campaign said they are willing to make a dreamer deal for border security... Now the Ball is in the Democrat's court.. Hopefully, after the beating they took on the border, they are willing to move in a different direction.

President-elect Trump’s appointed border czar said Monday that a potential legislative solution for Dreamers should be contingent on Democrats supporting increased border security and deportation measures.

Trump, in an interview with “Meet the Press,” said he would work with Democrats to “do something” about Dreamers, undocumented individuals brought to the United States as children who have remained in the country.

Tom Homan, Trump’s border czar, told Fox News that any bipartisan deal would have to include increased border measures. He argued Trump had previously floated a similar deal, but that it was rejected by Democrats over concerns with border wall funding.

“The bottom line is border walls work. Border walls save lives. Women and children can’t get over that wall, which means they go to a place where there’s not a wall. And what’s waiting on them? The men and women of the Border Patrol who’s going to take care of their medical needs right off the bat,” Homan said.

“So, President Trump will put it on the table again,” he continued. “But I would not go forward with it until the Democrats show this president that they’re willing to secure this border and willing to support him and the removal of public safety threats that are illegal here in the United States. So, it’s going to be put on the table once again. And I support the president in that idea.”

Trump in his “Meet the Press” interview emphasized his plans to carry out a massive deportation operation of those in the country without legal status and to crack down on immigration through other means, including by trying to ban birthright citizenship.

But on Dreamers, Trump appeared more open to finding a way for those individuals to remain in the country.

“I want to be able to work something out, and it should’ve been able to be worked out over the last three or four years, and it never got worked out,” Trump said, arguing Democrats should have taken care of the issue when they controlled the White House and Congress.

“I never understood why because they always seemed to want to do it, but then when it comes down to it, they don’t,” he said. “I think we can work with the Democrats and work something out.”

Democrats won’t do it. They are controlled by special interests organizations and they are not serious about solving this issue. They want to continue to drag this as a talking point for votes just like they did with the abortion issue.

After the beating Dems took on immigration and border security in the election.. They should tell United We Dream to F off. Many Democratic senators are outwardly saying they need a new direction on immigration and acknowledge they F up handling the border.

Dems will suddenly find their spines right at the critical moment where they need to fix the problem once and for all. Or Miller will step in and try to get Trump to switch to that stupid pillars bill all over again.

Senate has a 60 vote threshold... Republicans have 53 votes so they need 7 Dems to pass any bills
