Hopefully, they will adjust the broken bill and make it actually require a conviction, not just an indictment.

I think it's funny that people in the immigrant community are mad at Democrats for going along with this like they weren't railing on the Democrats for 4 years and saying "They're the same as Republicans". Might be a little payback or maybe more realistically, the Democrats are reading the room and want to appear tough on crime.
