Sign a power of attorney to a family member or friend you TRUST. They can sell it and transfer the funds to you, another alternative is to do Airbnb and have them manage it, you'll get a steady monthly income after they get their cut.

The house would become abandoned property, but I guess if you get a visa or what not you can come back to it. You wouldn't lose it, but you can't access it.

You should hire an estate attorney at that point from whatever hellhole they sent you to and they'll try to sell it and send you the money.
