DACA is due to face against the supreme court and things aren't looking very favorable there. I think whatever happens, we will have no option than to accept it. Trump is looking for a big win on immigration once and for all. His entire campaign was based off immigration and getting the cost of living down.

We all should be comfortable with congressional incapability at solving the immigration issue by now. Congressional E. D. Same story different day. They just played nuclear chicken with Trump and blinked when Trump neutered USAID. Its kind of a big deal. A constitutional crisis. In a country that simply can't edit its own constitution.

I've said it a million times, but everyone should have skills that can enable them to live a great quality of life with or without DACA. Skills skills skills. Its not the only country on the market, but it is the one that SHOULD take us in. As evidence of this, I recently witnessed someone that was super against illegal immigration make an exception for us on a case by case basis to the dismay of her audience. There is broad public support. IT WILL HAPPEN.

Somehow I feel that we are either going to get something out of this, or that somehow with another stroke of luck DACA will survive the supreme court.

Whatever Trump touches turns to gold sprinkled dust. Whoever trusts Trump eventually gets betrayed. Some people here would rather dilute themselves into delusion and think Trump loves them and will save them rather than spend their time and energy working harder on a plan B and dare I say, their dating game working towards a marriage with a USC.

DACA has been around for 12+ years. We never had the luxury of having multiple options. DACA was never a path to a permanent solution. Work with the hand you've been dealt.

But no surprise... most of the members here are Andrew Tate fans, wannabe MAGA, and can barely read and understand the instructions on how to renew their own DACA. Pinches burros idiotas.

If he truly didn't want to help us then why did Homan and Trump both state multiple times across multiple interviews that some sort of legislation is coming? Trump is a talker sure, but you should watch what he does more than what he says. He brought up DACA + Wall legislation and then it all went to shit trying to get more concessions from powerful democrats.

My forecast: We might get something but it will be at a heavy price if we get anything at all.

A bill will come after the reconciliation bill has passed and the GOP declares the mass deportation a success and the country is safe.. So we have to endure more political theatre.

I am sure the administration already has its list of demands in exchange for Dreamers and is waiting for the correct political timing to release it.
