"Aliens who submitted one or more benefit requests to USCIS not listed in 8 CFR 264.1(a), including applications for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals or Temporary Protected Status, who were not issued evidence of registration."

Daca + EAD = registered
Daca + no EAD = need to register

What is contradictory?

It is pretty clear

If you have EAD, you're already registered.

But if you have applied for DACA without receiving EAD, then you need to register.

Yes, I have read it, and she is correct. Let's refrain from fear mongering and make sure we understand this situation accurately.

Quote:

Who has already registered?

Anyone who has been issued one of the documents designated as evidence of registration under 8 CFR 264.1(b) has registered. Also, anyone who submitted one of the forms designated at 8 CFR 264.1(a) and provided fingerprints (unless waived) and was not issued one of the pieces of evidence designated at 8 CFR 264.1(b), complied with the registration requirement of INA 262. Aliens who have already registered include:
  • Lawful permanent residents;
  • Aliens paroled into the United States under INA 212(d)(5), even if the period of parole has expired;
  • Aliens admitted to the United States as nonimmigrants who were issued Form I-94 or I-94W (paper or electronic), even if the period of admission has expired;
  • All aliens present in the United States who were issued immigrant or nonimmigrant visas prior to arrival;
  • Aliens whom DHS has placed into removal proceedings;
  • Aliens issued an employment authorization document;
  • Aliens who have applied for lawful permanent residence using Forms I-485, I-687, I-691, I-698, I-700, even if the applications were denied; and,
  • Aliens issued Border Crossing Cards.

Who is not registered?

Anyone who has not been issued one of the documents designated as evidence of registration under 8 CFR 264.1(b) and has not submitted one of the forms designated at 8 CFR 264.1(a) and provided fingerprints (unless waived) is not registered. Aliens who have not registered include:

This includes:
  • Aliens who are present in the United States without inspection and admission or inspection and parole;
  • Canadian visitors who entered the United States at land ports of entry and were not issued evidence of registration; and,
  • Aliens who submitted one or more benefit requests to USCIS not listed in 8 CFR 264.1(a), including applications for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals or Temporary Protected Status, who were not issued evidence of registration.
In summary, this statement pertains to a group of non-citizens who have applied for certain types of immigration relief, such as DACA or TPS, but have not yet received official acknowledgment or documentation from USCIS regarding their applications.

Individuals currently on DACA have already received approval and obtained a work permit. This means that they are already included in the registered list, so there is no need for them to register again. I hope this helps!

It is concerning that you are struggling with comprehension skills. I clearly outlined the information from the USCIS bullet points, yet you still did not understand. I recommend investing in further education to improve your understanding. Here is another chance for you to read it again. I hope you understand it this time.

It is also concerning that you, as a DACA applicant, do not fully understand how the program works. Dreamers do receive an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) through DACA. You cannot effectively apply for DACA without also applying for an EAD. This new executive action pertains to those dreamers that initially applied for a DACA application but did not receive a response because the program was shut down due to the courts.

Can you explain to me why it would pertain to current dreamers when the government already has all of our information, including fingerprints, and everyone on DACA now already has an EAD, which means they are already registered? I want to understand your logic of thinking, if there is any.

But since you are so confident and insistent on spreading fear and misinformation, why don't you go ahead and register? Once you have completed the registration process, please return and post a screenshot confirmation. I'll be waiting.

Lastly, listening to you speak reminds me of a quote from the movie Billy Madison.

"What you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it."

You all are idiots hung up on who needs to register.

Us fine folks on DACA are already registered in a sense. Our names, addresses, place of work, relatives' information is all in their databases. The MAGAs in power just have to feel like being assholes and get on a power trip one day and order us detained and then deported and the basis of DACA "being illegal and an executive overreach".

You all are so desperate to think you are so much better and in a higher category than any other undocumented person. Go talk to a MAGA and they will accuse you, DACA recipient or not, of "eating the dogs and cats" of the neighborhood and "poisoning the blood of this country."

You're not special. Get your head out of your ass.
