YOU Can Now Comment On The Final Rule For The Alien Registration Rule

On March 7, 2025, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released an Interim Final Rule (IFR) implementing the Alien Registration Requirement announced by the agency in February.

The IFR is scheduled to be published in the Federal Register on March 12 and to become effective 30 days later, on April 11, 2025.

As of that effective date, noncitizens will be required to register through a myUSCIS online account. The requirement applies to all noncitizens, regardless of status.

By what date undocs must have been registered?

Is there any specific set date?

DACA don't have to register, we already have registration its called the EAD.

I think this is an opportunity to vet and screen people starting with those who have lived here the longest, and offer an EAD for registration program. And in the case of Dreamers, many now in their 30s and 40s, a chance to solve their status.

actually the president has power to do this under the 1798 Aliens Enemies act IIRC

Allegedly the form asks you 3 different times when is your departure date and also information on your family parents and etc. Its not a EAD, its a sign up for removal list. the cherry on top is they want $30 from you for this registration privilege.
