On the other hand, he wasn't given the proper due process, which if allowed, can be used to set the new low standards moving forward.
Well get opinionated because this dude was deported despite having been granted withholding of removal (that's the convention against torture), he missed out on asylum solely due to the bullshit 1 year deadline created by the Real ID Act.

Dude got sent to literally the one country he had an IJ's order that he cannot be legally sent to.

Like it's not just lack of due process, it's literally going contrary to what's the exact opposite of a removal order, followed up the orange toddler trying to run the smear job by pretending that the tattoos in question are MS-13 (they're not, US gang tattoos are pretty unmistakable), nevermind that MS-13 is not Tren de Aragua.

Democratic backsliding because the electorate does vibe voting. They liked how he said it, even though it made no sense and would hurt them. They thought he was a businessman because he played one on TV. This goes for dems too. It's just vibes. Nobody did research and educated themselves. They just take marching orders from talking heads. Blah blah thing they like blah blah.

I just don't see a bright future for the US. Americans can't afford to buy homes, rent is slipping out of their hands, assuming they can afford it. Groceries and eggs still high.

Not only that but the vibe around the dollar has broken and the Swiss franc, Euro lol, and the yen have become winners for their stability in these difficult times. And the cherry on top, the gold price has thundered to $3,400. Double your money with this one weird trick, buy gold at $2,000 and wait for it to rise to $4,000. At $5,000 everything starts to burst because gold reveals the dollar is the naked emperor. Lysol to germs. Garlic to vampires.

But the silver lining is they'll be more likely to make us citizens as economic conditions deteriorate to prevent skilled talent from leaving. Skilled talent is always first to escape. The second silver lining is that with a currency collapse it will fix a lot of malinvestment and encourage judicious spending and decisions. It's a bitter medicine, but it's badly needed. Difficult medicine now or a dead patient. Which is it going to be?

Lastly, this will fix the country and encourage long term thinking. Without debt to backstop stupid decisions wisdom will have to prevail. And soon again the country will be better for future generations. It's clear our generation will have the difficult choices and hard situations, but if we win and thrive, next generations will have it better. I want to see a nation where the old plant trees they won't sit in the shade of. Where a virtuous cycle is created. Everyone makes a sacrifice for a better future.

You give the current ruling group of simpletons too much credit.

The whole affair screams bullshit. The dude was arrested in a Hone Depot parking lot looking for day labor. What kind of gangbanger extorts people and then goes to Home Depot for a side hustle?

The detective who wrote him up got suspended or kicked out of the force later because he tipped a prostitute that her brothel was under surveillance. The Washington Post also reported that the local dept had a gang sheet and they had developed a culture in which detectives had to fill in as many reports of potential gangsters as possible, otherwise they weren't to last with the unit.

So the detective probably fills the report to fill his quota, then ICE who's looking for criminal undocumented, because the propaganda needs to transform most undocumented into criminals/terrorists even though most of them are working takes up the report in front of the judge. The burden of proof is lower in immigration courts, so the hearsay/ false police report becomes a legal fact and the guy who fled El Salvador at the age of 16 because the rival MS13 gang, Barrio 18, was threatening him now became a gang member.

Then the Trump administration which has unleashed the worst nativist elements of this society decided to add a sprinkle of lawlessness by discovering the magic loophole. Their logic is this. If you deport people without cause or due process to a foreign prison no less, then you can claim that since they are in another country, there's nothing you can do to bring them back. So they dare the courts to force them.

This in turn sets the alarm with everyone who can see the implications of this. Today's illegal immigrant could be tomorrow's US citizen. If you defy the courts on this, why not defy the courts on a series of things? This is how dictatorships start.

So that's why we are up in arms about it. But the right wing mill doesn't want to argue this. So they keep trashing this poor man's reputation to make him as unsympathetic as possible. Like I said, this could be the case. Nobody's perfect. But whether Abrego Garcia is a good person or not, a domestic abuser or not, a gang member or not are besides the point.

The point is the rule of law and whether we are going to keep it in his country.

Honestly, I blame Merrick Garland for this shit. If he wasn't a complete cuck Trump would be right where he belongs - getting raped in prison.

Trump has a favorable view on daca. Said it many times and is likely to happen after the budget is complete. But, predicting the future is next to impossible so who knows if they'll do immigration legislation or if they'll even include us. Lots of big ifs. If I wasn't comfortable with my situation here I have options to leave with and even mexico isn't so bad. At the very least, let's see what happens. I just know one thing, we won't be getting strung along anymore. That's for sure.

They are many mexicos, it's a big country, you can get a good stable quality life there too. It's just that the poor side is relatively large.

It's only been 4 months and it's already been FUBAR'ed and a clusterfuck of legendary proportions. He was elected on mainly the economy but the economy is still trashed. Forecasting a big defeat come midterms once people figure out the cuts to medicare/medic aid. That is unless our favorite screwups, the dems manage to fumble.

"We're not defending this man. We are defending the due process."

Dems are taking a HUGE LOSS on this, aren't they.

With each passing day, this dude gets worse and worse.

The same Dems who did nothing for DACA during 4 years of Biden, clamored for MS-13 member.

It is fking unbelievable.

There is literally no proof that he's MS-13. He's got some tattoos, alright, that's not illegal. And no, the "MS13" was on the knuckles was literally penned over a photo and Trump was too stupid too understand that.

Also, I hope you understand that due process is extremely important. Without that the government can accuse you of anything and disappear you to any hellhole on the planet.
