I think eventually they would want to do a revamp of our immigration system, such as;
  1. Limiting on family-based immigration. ("chain migration")
  2. Ending the diversity visa lottery.
  3. Implementing a "points-based" system.
  4. Crackdown on sanctuary cities.
  5. Implementing an E-verify system nationwide.

A lot of these things can not be accomplished via executive order and will need a bipartisan approach to get them done. Which opens up a possibility of a DACA trade off.

DACA could of have ended on day one with a stroke of a pen by doing another executive order. I do believe a deal can be done here and that's why they are holding out for now. I could be wrong though.

DACA has bipartisan support. Even crazy Republicans like Jim Jordan wants to find a solution so I strongly believe they are holding out to get something out of Democrats when immigration is taken up again. They could have certainly tried to end it by now considering all the other bullshit they have done.

Unless stephen miller gets fired, there will not be good resolution.

No DACA can't be ended with stroke of a pen

In 2022, the Biden administration issued a final rule to formalize the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy under the federal rulemaking process. This regulation went into effect on October 31, 2022, and aimed to provide more legal durability to the program after years of legal challenges.

Before 2022, DACA existed only as a policy memo. It was not codified in regulation.
The 2022 rule was the first time it was formally enshrined in federal regulatory law, requiring any future rescission to go through the full rulemaking process.

Diaper Don and his Republican party are way to stupid to follow the proper procedure to dismantle DACA. Idiots and clowns.

His swollen legs will burst and he will bleed out dead before any relevant comprehensive reform is passed.

DACA has been slipping through the cracks because when it reached supreme court the during trump's first term, Ginsburg helped us to vote to keep DACA before she passed away, and then when Texas tried to kill it, SCOTUS blocked universal injunction before it is getting killed on Texas soon.

I will never forget RBG for letting her ego get in the way of retiring in time for Dems to fill in her seat. She went from being remembered as a trailblazer to a selfish prick that let her ego get in the way of doing what was right.

From Dementia Don, the bloated idiot that has brought us 90 deals in 90 days, a DACA deal will be made! Master of the deal!

Too many negative Nancy's. Stop worrying and start living your life. We have it better than most. Chill.

You should be getting jacked and getting stacked.
