Yes it's sad, but there's not much we can do abt it anymore. we've come this far in life without having a lot of things, we shouldn't let this set back bring us down. lets keep fighting and be strong. One day something good will happen.

Hey Guys,
I'm taking the loss of dream pretty well, yes, it was disappointing I called and called up to the last minute before the vote. However, we should acknowledge our efforts and give our selves a pat on the back for how we organized our selves and fought against the opposition. The vote was 52-44 with four of our co-sponsors: Boxer, Mccain, Dodd, Kennedy, not voting.With this four votes we would have had 56 votes. Reid voted against because he saw the 60 were not there, this was a procedural move to motion dream back if he so chooses to. With Reid's vote that would have put as at 57, some senators told Durbin that they would vote for it if there vote was the make or break vote. In reality we were just three votes shy of what we needed, we need to take a step back and regress and acknowledge our efforts of intense lobbying. Although, disappointed dream did not pass this congress I will continue to further my education this struggle I believe has instilled with in us all a certain personality trait that makes us "dreamers" unique beings.

This was a really really close call...really really close not 52-44 but more like 57-44 b/c 4 cosponsors were missing and some who promised wimped out as well as those who opposed but would have voted in favor if it came super close to scratch durbins back. So I think we did well, they say many were scared to vote in favor but did. So Great Job Everyone! Call & share your stories with legislators.

im dissapointed by McCain especially, since i contacted him, and he preaches about passing the dream act, i even got mail from him, stating on how he would like to change the immigration laws, not to mention pioneering the CIR

you know i had a friend if mines thats a citizen call sessions office and actually spoke to the him lol, i couldn't believe it, sessions is not stupid at all he was well spoken and he raised some crazy points i still hate his guts though he kept telling my friend if your friend is so good and honest why when he found out he was illegal here he didn't go back to his country and apply if his record is clean we would see how good he is and allow to come back, my friend got mad and just said have a good day sir, i wish he would've recorded that convo
